“City of Kings and Prophets” – Jerusalem during the time of the First Temple

Let us tour in the tracks of the kings of the House of David, from the historic heart of Jerusalem, where the city emerged.

The Bible paints a picture of Jerusalem, from the time of its bold conquest by King David and up to its destruction by the Babylonians. Archeologists, who have been excavating the city for decades, have found inanimate evidence of past events that often present more questions than answers.

We will embark on a tour amidst the layers of the past, to historic and pre-historic Jerusalem. We will tell the tale of the city and its inhabitants. We will explore the latest research, which casts new light on past events.

The sites of the tour include Armon Hanatziv Overlook, the City of David, the Ariel Center for Jerusalem in the First Temple Period, the Broad Wall of the Old City, and the Israelite Tower.

Some of the sites on the tour require an entrance fee.
