Ms 4602 of the Ben-Zvi Institute in Jerusalem is an illuminated manuscript of Fath-Nama ("The Book of Conquest") by the Judeo-Persian poet 'Imrani (1454-after 1536), who set to verse parts of the books of Joshua, Judges, Ruth, and 1 and 2 Samuel. Embellished by 23 Persian miniature paintings (reproduced in this volume), it dates from the second half of the seventeenth century and is one of only two illuminated versions of 'Imrani's epic to have surfaced so far. The volume includes an introduction (pp. 11-21), a partial annotated translation of the text, and a bibliography.
