Please note: The entrance to Yad Ben-Zvi is through the School for Jerusalem Studies, where our library and bookstore are also located, at 14 Ibn-Gvirol Street.

 

By car:

From Highway 1: Continue under the Jerusalem Chords Bridge (“Gesher Hameitarim”) at the entrance to the city, straight ahead to Shazar Boulevard (“Sderot Shazar”), past the National Convention Center (“Binyanei Ha’uma”) on your right.  At the traffic light immediately after the National Convention Center, stay on Shazar Blvd as it veers slightly right.

 

At the next traffic light continue straight. The name of the street changes to Ben-Zvi Blvd (“Sderot Ben-Zvi”).

 

At the second traffic light on Ben-Zvi Blvd (after passing Sacher Park/“Gan Sacher” on your right), turn left onto Rupin Road (“Derech Rupin”) and continue through the next traffic light onto Ramban Street.

 

Go through one traffic light, and then take the next left onto Ibn-Ezra Street. Continue to the end and then take a right onto Keren Kayamet Street. Take the next right onto Ibn-Gvirol Street (the entrance is located here). Then take the second right onto Abarbanel Street.

 

From Highway 443:

Exit from Menachem Begin Blvd (“Sderot Begin”) at the Kiryat Moshe Interchange and turn left onto Yitzhak Rabin Blvd (“Sderot Yitzhak Rabin”). Go through the Lions Tunnel (“Minharat Ha’arayot”) and immediately after the tunnel turn right onto Ben-Zvi Blvd (“Sderot Ben-Zvi”). At the first traffic light turn left onto Rupin Road (“Derech Rupin”) and continue through the next traffic light onto Ramban Street.

 

Go through one traffic light, and then take the next left onto Ibn-Ezra Street. Continue to the end and then take a right onto Keren Kayamet Street. Take the next right onto Ibn-Gvirol Street (the entrance is located here). Then take the second right onto Abarbanel Street.

 

Parking: There are metered parking places in the area nearby, or free parking in the area of the Jerusalem Theater. There is also paid parking at Beit Avi Hai on Keren Kayemet Street or Avida Street.

 

By public transportation:

Take any bus line that passes through King George Street (“Hamelech George”) and exit near the National Institutions House (“Binyan Hamosdot Haleumi’im”) at the corner of King George and Keren Kayemet streets.

 

From there continue by foot on Keren Kayemet, taking the first left onto Ibn Gvirol Street (the entrance is located here).
